Brick Slip Systems
Brick slip systems have evolved to become an integral part of the modern construction sector, offering a traditional brick finish with brick cladding in a format that is both practical and versatile.
In the modular construction sector, our A1 fire rated brick slip system, BrickBoard, can be used to create ventilated rainscreen cladding that can be installed either in-factory or directly on site. Alternatively, and dependent on design criteria, A1 fire rated brick slip carrier boards with channels pre-cut for the brick tiles can be fixed directly to most substrates where they act as both sheathing and backing board for the brick slips.
Our insulated brick slip system, ThermClad, is based on an XPS backing board with channels pre-cut for the brick slips and is an effective external wall insulation measure either as a retrofit brick cladding solution for existing housing stock or in new builds.

A1 fire-rated Brick Slip System
The A1 BrickBoard fire-rated brick slip system is based on a high-density, fibre-cement (GRC) backing board with channels pre-cut for the installation of brick slips (brick tiles). The brick slip backing boards can be installed directly to steel or timber centres (battens) or can be fixed to an aluminium facade mounting system often referred to as a helping-hand system) to create a ventilated and insulated cavity for a rainscreen solution in a wide variety of brick styles. Because they are A1 fire rated to EN:1350-1, BrickBoard non-combustible brick slip carrier boards can be used in buildings above 18m high and are also the perfect remedial solution for buildings with unsafe cladding.

Insulated brick slipsystem
ThemClad is an insulated brick slip system based on an XPS backing board (insulation board) with channels pre-cut for the brick slips (brick tiles). By combining the insulating properties of XPS (thermal conductivity of 0.038W/mK) with the function of brick slip carrier board, the ThermClad system offers a fast and cost-effective solution for an insulated brick slip facade that can be installed directly to existing walls as a retrofit EWI measure (external wall insulation, or onto any timber/LGS framed buildings or as a fast and simple brick slip finish for regular block construction.

Flexible, acrylic brick slips
FlexiSlip is a new type of flexible brick slip made from a mineral resin mix with a natural brick surface finish. At just 3mm thick, FlexiSlip brick tiles can be installed directly to any sound internal or external surface. They are ideal for DIY use as well as for larger, commercial projects and are particularly cost-effective. Flexible brick slips offer a brick finish in situations where thicker or heavier brick slips are not suitable, and have a total installed thickness of just 5-6mm. They can be installed onto insulation boards or onto an existing rendered/plastered surface. Available in a mesh format or as individual slips, Flexislip was designed to offer simplicity and speed at the lowest possible cost.
